The Rural Municipality of Silver Creek is a former List of rural municipalities in Manitoba, rural municipality (RM) in the Canada, Canadian Provinces and territories of Canada, province of Manitoba. It was originally incorporated as a rural municipality on December 22, 1883. It ceased on January 1, 2015, as a result of its Manitoba municipal amalgamations, 2015, provincially mandated Merger (politics), amalgamation with the Rural Municipality of Shellmouth-Boulton, RM of Shellmouth-Boulton to form the Rural Municipality of Riding Mountain West. The former RM is located in the Parkland Region, Manitoba, Parkland Region of the province. It borders the Waywayseecappo First Nation Indian reserve to the east. The Rural Municipality of Shellmouth-Boulton is a former rural municipality (RM) in the Canadian province of Manitoba. It was originally incorporated as a rural municipality on January 1, 1999. It ceased on January 1, 2015, as a result of its provincially mandated amalgamation with the RM of Silver Creek to form the Rural Municipality of Riding Mountain West. The former RM is located in the Parkland Region of the province. Parkland Region, Manitoba
Parkland is an informal geographic region of the Canadian province of Manitoba, located between Lakes Manitoba and Winnipegosis on the east and the Manitoba–Saskatchewan border on the west. The largest population centre is the city of Dauphin, and the second largest is the town of Swan River.
