Sibongile Sambo
Sibongile Sambo (born 1974 in Bushbuckridge, Mpumalanga), is a South African aviation pioneer, entrepreneur, and motivational speaker. She is the founder and CEO of SRS Aviation. Career Sambo developed an early fascination with aircraft, watching planes soar overhead and dreaming of a future in the skies. However, her aspirations took an unexpected turn when she was rejected for a flight attendant position by South African Airways due to not meeting the minimum height requirement. After completing her education at the University of Zululand, She worked with notable organizations such as Telkom, City Power, and De Beers, gaining valuable business experience and sharpening her leadership skills. Bushbuckridge
Bushbuckridge (also known as Mapulaneng) is the main town in Bushbuckridge Local Municipality, Ehlanzeni District Municipality, Ehlanzeni District, Mpumalanga, South Africa. It grew around a trading store that opened in 1884, and is named after the large herds of Cape bushbuck, bushbuck found here in the 1880s, and the prominent ridge in the southeastern part of the municipality. The suburbs and rural areas to the south of Bushbuckridge constitute a "sub place", called Bushbuckridge NU with a 2011 population of 1070, covering . Mpumalanga
Mpumalanga () is one of the nine provinces of South Africa. The name means "East", or literally "The Place Where the Sun Rises" in the Nguni languages. Mpumalanga lies in eastern South Africa, bordering Eswatini and Mozambique.
