Shooting Star (Deepest Blue Song)
"Shooting Star" is a song by British Electronic music, electronic group Deepest Blue. It was released on 23 August 2004 as the fourth and final single from their debut album ''Late September''. It was their first single not to make the UK Singles Chart top 40, peaking at number 57. The group were dropped by their record label and decided to split up soon after the release of this single. Despite the commercial failure of the single, it is still used by Sky Sports as incidental music during UK football matches, and was used on Sky Sports News and Soccer Saturday from 2004 until 2007. Deepest Blue are a British electronic music duo comprising Matt Schwartz and Joel Edwards. They are best known for their UK Top 40, Top 10 hit singles, "Deepest Blue (song), Deepest Blue" (2003) and "Give It Away (Deepest Blue song), Give It Away" (2004). History Deepest Blue consists of Joel Edwards and Matt Schwartz. Schwartz had worked with Arthur Baker (musician), Arthur Baker, Mica Paris, JTQ and Massive Attack prior to Deepest Blue. He collaborated with Massive Attack on their album ''Mezzanine (album), Mezzanine'', helping to co-write "Dissolved Girl" which was used in the 1999 film ''The Matrix''. It is a square number, the smallest semiprime and composite number, and is considered unlucky in many East Asian cultures. Darrin Mooney
Darrin Shane Mooney (born 26 April 1967) is an English musician and session drummer, best known for his work with Primal Scream and Gary Moore. Mooney started playing at the age of 12 at school. Mooney attended Raynes Park High School. Throughout his school years, he played in various school bands and orchestras, playing both drums and percussion. At the age of 18, Mooney went along to a NYJO (National Youth Jazz Orchestra) rehearsal in London and was inspired as he watched the others play. In 1997 he joined Primal Scream and worked with Gary Moore from 2001. He has also played with China Black, Matt Bianco, Ragga Twins, Bonnie Tyler, Martin Barre and others. Full Intention are an English house music duo consisting of Michael Gray and Jon Pearn. They are best known as prolific producers and remixers. They have reworked songs for varied artists such as the Sugababes, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey and Frankie Knuckles, among others.
