José Luis Jair Soria (born September 12, 1971) is a Mexican retired ''lucha libre, luchador'' or Professional wrestling, professional wrestler, who works under the ring name Shocker. He works for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre in Mexico and has previously worked for Lucha Libre AAA World Wide, AAA in Mexico, Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, in the United States of America, United States and New Japan Pro-Wrestling in Japan. Soria is a second-generation professional wrestler; his father, Rubén Soria, was an active wrestler from 1963 to the 1970s. Working as Shocker, he has held the CMLL World Tag Team Championship on three occasions, with Negro Casas, Mr. Niebla and L.A. Park. La Copa Junior
The Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) has held the La Copa Junior ("The Junior Cup") tournament on an infrequent schedule since 1996. The tournament pays respect to the fact that wrestling is a family tradition in Lucha libre, with many second or even third-generation wrestlers following the footsteps of their relatives. So far CMLL has held ten tournaments starting in 1996 and then intermittently since 2005. While most of the family relationships are real there are a few instances of the family relationship being a storylines family relationship, such as Dragón Rojo Jr. being billed as the grandson of Dragón Rojo, when in reality that is simply a storyline created by CMLL. CMLL Torneo Gran Alternativa
The ''Torneo Gran Alternativa'' (Spanish language, Spanish for "the Great Alternative Tournament") is an annual ''lucha libre'' (professional wrestling) tournament held by the Mexico, Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). The tournament was not held in 1997, 2000, or 2002, but was held twice in 1996 and 1998. The most recent ''Torneo Gran Alternativa (2017), Torneo Gran Alternativa'' tournament was held in December 2021. The tournament has always been held in ''Arena Mexico'' in Mexico City, Mexico, the main arena of CMLL. Up until 2010 the tournament format was that of eight tag teams facing off in a one night, single elimination tournament, sometimes with a match to determine the seeds for the tournament.
