Sherry Grace
Sherry Grace is an American interior designer and the founder of Mothers of Incarcerated Sons, a non-profit organization that provides assistance to parents of children in prison. In 2006 ''Essence'' named Grace one of their "50 of the Most Inspiring African-Americans". First published in 1970, the magazine is written for African-American women. History Edward Lewis, Clarence O. Smith, Cecil Hollingsworth and Jonathan Blount founded Essence Communications Inc. Mother's Day is a celebration honoring the mother of the family or individual, as well as motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society. It is celebrated on different days in many parts of the world, most commonly in March or May. It complements similar celebrations honoring family members, such as Father's Day, Siblings Day, and Grandparents' Day.
