She Lives!
''She Lives!'' is a 1973 made-for-television movie about a young couple, Andy and Pam (played by Desi Arnaz Jr. and Season Hubley). ''She Lives!'' is the title of a novel by Paul G. Neimark, published in 1972, on which the television drama is based. Some of the locations that were used for shooting included the steps and the exterior of the Architecture Building at UCLA, and the Bridge over the Avenue of the Stars in Century City. The final scene when Andy shouts out in the streets "She Lives!" was filmed in San Francisco at the corner of Divisadero St. and Vallejo St. Plot Andy is unsatisfied in a class which involved the disection of a rat, after its death, that he wanted to find a new person through an ad. Swans (band)
Swans are an American experimental rock band formed in 1981 by singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Michael Gira. One of the few acts to emerge from the New York City-based no wave scene and stay intact into the next decade, Swans have become recognized for an ever-changing sound, exploring genres such as noise rock, post-punk, industrial music, industrial and post-rock. Initially, their music was known for its sonic brutality and Misanthropy, misanthropic lyrics. The Who
The Who are an English Rock music, rock band formed in London in 1964. "Time in a Bottle" is a song by singer-songwriter Jim Croce. It appeared on Croce's 1972 ABC third album '' You Don't Mess Around with Jim'' and was featured in the 1973 ABC made-for-television movie '' She Lives!'' After Croce was killed in a plane crash in September 1973, the song was aired frequently on radio, and demand for a single release built. The single of "Time in a Bottle" became Croce's second and final track to reach number one in the United States. Composition Croce wrote the lyrics after his wife Ingrid told him she was pregnant in December 1970. James Joseph Croce (; January 10, 1943 – September 20, 1973) was an American Folk music, folk and rock singer-songwriter. Between 1966 and 1973, he released five studio albums and numerous singles. During this period, Croce took a series of odd jobs to pay bills while he continued to write, record and perform concerts. After Croce formed a partnership with the songwriter and guitarist Maury Muehleisen in the early 1970s, his fortunes turned. Croce's breakthrough came in 1972, when his third album, ''You Don't Mess Around with Jim'', produced three charting singles, including "Time in a Bottle", which reached No. 1 after Croce died. Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) is a type of lymphoma in which cancer originates from a specific type of white blood cell called lymphocytes, where multinucleated Reed–Sternberg cells (RS cells) are present in the lymph nodes. The condition was named after the English physician Thomas Hodgkin, who first described it in 1832. Symptoms may include fever, night sweats, and weight loss. Often, non-painful enlarged lymph nodes occur in the neck, under the arm, or in the groin. Persons affected may feel tired or be itchy. The two major types of Hodgkin lymphoma are classic Hodgkin lymphoma and nodular lymphocyte-predominant Hodgkin lymphoma. ''Tommy'' is the fourth studio album by the English rock band the Who, released on 17 May 1969. Written primarily by guitarist Pete Townshend, ''Tommy'' is a double album and an early rock opera that tells the story of the fictional Tommy Walker and his path to becoming a spiritual leader and messianic figure. Townshend came up with the concept of ''Tommy'' after being introduced to the work of Indian spiritual teacher Meher Baba, and he attempted to translate Baba's ideas into music. Recording of the album began in September 1968, but took six months to complete as material needed to be arranged and re-recorded in the studio.
