Shaznay Lewis
Tricia Marie "Shaznay" Lewis (born 14 October 1975) is an English singer and songwriter. Lewis rose to fame as a member of the girl group All Saints (group), All Saints which she formed with Melanie Blatt in 1993. As a member of All Saints, Lewis won two Brit Awards and an Ivor Novello Awards, Ivor Novello Award, and co-wrote three of the group's five UK number-one singles: "Never Ever (All Saints song), Never Ever", "Bootie Call" and "Pure Shores". In 2002, Lewis starred in the film ''Bend It Like Beckham''. Lewis launched her solo career with the release of her debut album ''Open (Shaznay Lewis album), Open'' in 2004. It entered the UK Albums Chart at number 22 and spawned the UK top 10 single "Never Felt Like This Before". Lewis' second album, ''Pages (Shaznay Lewis album), Pages'', was released on 17 May 2024. ''Open'' is the debut solo studio album by the English singer Shaznay Lewis, released by London Records on 19 July 2004. It was preceded by the single " Never Felt Like This Before" which entered the UK Singles Chart at number eight. The album received mixed reviews from critics and peaked at number 22 on the UK Albums Chart. Critical reception ''Open'' received mixed reviews from music critics upon release. ''Pages'' is the second studio album by English singer-songwriter Shaznay Lewis, released through her independent record label 1.9.7.5 Recordings on 17 May 2024. It is Lewis' first album in 20 years and features collaborations with Self Esteem, Shola Ama and General Levy. Lewis launched the album with her first solo headlining show at The Jazz Cafe on 14 May 2024. Release and promotion Lewis partnered with Absolute Label Services for the manufacturing and distribution of ''Pages''. On 29 January 2024, the album was made available for pre-order on CD, and limited edition white vinyl and cassette tape formats. Karl Clive Gordon, known by the stage name K-Gee, is a British Disc jockey, DJ, Record producer, producer, rapper and songwriter and former member of the Outlaw Posse. Gordon was brought up listening to reggae by his father and was inspired to become a DJ after listening to Grandmaster Flash's "The Message" and other early Hip hop music, hip-hop tracks. Ivor Novello (born David Ivor Davies; 15 January 1893 – 6 March 1951) was a Welsh actor, dramatist, singer and composer who became one of the most popular British entertainers of the first half of the 20th century. He was born into a musical family, and his first successes were as a songwriter. His first big hit was " Keep the Home Fires Burning" (1914), which was enormously popular during the First World War. His 1917 show, '' Theodore & Co'', was a wartime hit. After the war, Novello contributed numbers to several successful musical comedies and was eventually commissioned to write the scores of complete shows. Natalie Appleton
Natalie Jane Appleton Howlett (born 14 May 1973) is a Canadian singer. She is a member of the British girl group All Saints and the duo Appleton with her younger sister Nicole Appleton. Appleton joined All Saints in 1996, becoming the fourth and final member of the group, but five years later they split up amid group in-fighting.
