''Shasan'' () is a 2016 Indian Marathi-language political drama film directed by Gajendra Ahire and produced by Shekhar Pathak under the banner of Shreya Films. The film stars Makarand Anaspure, Bharat Jadhav, Jitendra Joshi, Manava Naik, Siddhartha Jadhav, Shriram Lagoo, Vikram Gokhale, Mohan Joshi, Vinay Apte and Nagesh Bhosle. Gajendra Vitthal Ahire is a National Award winner Indian film maker and screenwriter. He is noted for his work in Marathi cinema, theater, and television. He won the Silver Lotus Award at the 51st National Film Awards for his debut film Not Only Mrs. Raut in 2003, and National award for the Best Feature Film in Marathi for Shevri in 2006. Vinay Apte (17 June 1951 – 7 December 2013) was an Indian film and television actor. He acted in several Marathi movies and television shows in his almost 40-year-old career. Mohan Joshi
Mohan Joshi is an Indian film, television and theater actor. He has worked in Hindi, Marathi and Bhojpuri films. Career Joshi started his career as a theatre artist in Pune. He was noticed in the play ''Kuryat Sada Tingalam''. Along with Anand Abhyankar and Suhasini Deshpande, the show was performed more than 1000 times.
