Sharyn Hodgson
Sharyn Hodgson (born 25 August 1968) is an Australian former actress, best known as an original character in TV serial ''Home and Away'' playing troubled teenager Carly Morris (later Luccini), she has subsequently returned to the role guest appearances reprising the part until 2008. Early life Hodgson was born in Sydney and attended drama school with the Phillip Street Drama School when she was 15. She spent four years studying there on Saturday mornings, which led to work with the Film and Television School appearing in films for students. Career Hodgson had a guest role in TV serial '' A Country Practice'' in 1987, before auditioning for ''Home and Away'' the Seven Network's fledgling soap opera in that year. She was successfully cast and became one of the sixteen original characters, appearing from the pilot episode which initially aired in January 1988. ''Home and Away'' (''H&A'') is an Australian television soap opera. It was created by Alan Bateman and commenced broadcast on the Seven Network on 17 January 1988. Bateman came up with the concept of the show during a trip to Kangaroo Point, New South Wales, where he noticed locals were complaining about the construction of a foster home and against the idea of foster children from the city living in the area. ''Police Rescue'' is an Australian television series which originally aired on ABC TV (Australian TV channel), ABC TV between 1989 and 1996. It was produced by Australian Broadcasting Corporation, ABC and Southern Star Entertainment, Southern Star Xanadu in association with the BBC. Apart from the 61 episodes, there was a 90-minute television pilot, pilot episode (first screened in 1989) as well as a feature film in 1994, starring Zoe Carides. Christopher Mark Sievey (25 August 1955 – 21 June 2010) was an English musician, comedian and artist known for fronting the band the Freshies in the late 1970s and early 1980s and for his comic persona Frank Sidebottom from 1984 onwards.
