Shari Mendelson (born 1961, Schenectady, New York) is an American artist and educator, known for her sculptures of animals, fertility figures, and vessels made of recycled plastic materials. She is based in Brooklyn and upstate New York in the Catskills. About Shari Mendelson has a BFA degree from Arizona State University. She has a MFA degree from State University of New York at New Paltz, graduating in 1968. Her work is reminiscent of ancient-appearing antiquities and figurines made of intricate glass, however her work is all newly made from used plastic trash, acrylic resin, hot glue, and various other materials. Shari Leibbrandt-Demmon (born March 26, 1966, in Salmon Arm, British Columbia, Canada as Sharri Demmon) is a Canadian- Dutch curling coach who is the National Coach (Bondscoach) for Netherlands Topsport & Talent Curling Program. She coached the National Juniors from 2005- 2014, Team van Dorp 2010 - 2013 and Men's National Selection Team 2014 to current. Shari Koch (born 23 September 1993) is a German former competitive ice dancer. With skating partner Christian Nüchtern, she is the 2014 Bavarian Open silver medalist, 2017 Winter Universiade bronze medalist, and 2019 German national champion.
