Sharad Pawar
Sharadchandra Govindrao Pawar (, pronunciation: Help:IPA/Marathi, [ʃəɾəd̪ pəʋaːɾ], born 12 December 1940) is an Indian politician. Pawar served as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra for four terms and in the Union Council of Ministers as the Minister of Defence (India), Minister of Defence in the Rao ministry, Cabinet of P.V. Narasimha Rao as well as the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare, Minister of Agriculture in the Cabinet of Manmohan Singh. He is the first and only president of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), which he founded in 1999, after separating from the Indian National Congress. Currently, Pawar leads his faction of the NCP in the Rajya Sabha, the upper chamber of the Indian parliament. He is the chairperson of Maha Vikas Aghadi, a regional Maharashtra-based political alliance. Vijaysinh Shankarao Mohite-Patil (born 12 June 1944) is a politician from the Nationalist Congress Party and Member of Parliament (MP) for Madha in Maharashtra since the 2014 general election till the 2019 general election. Chandra Shekhar (17 April 1927 – 8 July 2007), also known as Jananayak, was an Indian politician and the prime minister of India, between 10 November 1990 and 21 June 1991. He headed a minority government of a breakaway faction of the Janata Dal with outside support from the Indian National Congress.
