Shapingba
Shapingba () is a district of Chongqing, People's Republic of China, formerly known as Shaci District () during the Sino-Japanese War. It is one of the central parts of Chongqing and covers around 396 square kilometers, with 13 subdistricts and 11 towns. Shapingba is one of the most populated areas in Chongqing with a population of around one million. Location and Geography Shapingba is one of Chongqing's main districts. It borders Jiulongpo to the south, Bishan to the west and Beibei to the north. The district itself is on the west bank of the Jialing River. History Before Shapingba District became a part of Chongqing, it was part of Baxian(Now Banan District). Chongqing Nankai Middle School
Chongqing Nankai Middle School () is a senior high school in Chongqing, China. It is located in Chenjiawan, Shapingba District. Ciqikou, Chongqing
Ciqikou () is an ancient town in the Shapingba District of Chongqing Municipality, People's Republic of China. It was originally called Longyinzhen () and was also known as Little Chongqing. According to an old Chinese proverb: "One flagstone road, and one thousand years' Ciqikou". The name of the town can be traced back to porcelain production during the Ming (1368–1644) and Qing Dynasties. A satellite town in the north of central Chongqing, Beibei got its name because of the huge rock that extends to the middle of Jialing River, and is known for its historical culture in the period of the Republic of China. Jiulongpo () is a district forming part of the western part of the Chongqing urban core (). Its total population is around 675,000, while its urban city population is nearly 650,000 (2005). Location Jiulongpo is one of the main districts in Chongqing, around which are Yuzhong, Shapingba and Dadukou, while Banan and Nan'an are separated from Jiulongpo with rivers.
