Shangzhi
Shangzhi () is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Harbin, the capital of Heilongjiang province, People's Republic of China. It is away from central Harbin and has an area of approximately . The city proper has a population of around 120,000, while the total administrative population is approximately 600,000 inhabitants. The most spacious county-level division of Harbin City, it borders Yanshou County to the north, Wuchang City, Wuchang to the southwest, Acheng District to the northwest, and Bin County, Heilongjiang, Bin County to the northwest, as well as the prefecture-level city of Mudanjiang to the southeast. The city of Shangzhi was once called Zhuhe (). It was developed during the Guangxu Emperor, Guangxu era in the late Qing dynasty, and was renamed to Shangzhi to commemorate the Second Sino-Japanese War hero Zhao Shangzhi in 1946. Zhao Shangzhi
Zhao Shangzhi (; 26 October 1908 –12 February 1942) was a Chinese military commander. Born into a peasant-turned-intellectual family in Chaoyang, Liaoning, he participated in the May Thirtieth Movement in 1925, and joined the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in the same year. In November 1925, he went to study in the Whampoa Military Academy in Guangzhou. After 18 September 1932 he took the charge of the CCP Northeast military division. In October 1933, he was in charge of Zhuhe anti-Japan guerrillas, and was promoted to commander of the Northeast Anti-Japanese United Army in 1934. On 12 February 1942, he was captured by Japanese military police after being attacked by an agent provocateur, and died later at the age of 34. Heilongjiang
Heilongjiang is a province in northeast China. It is the northernmost and easternmost province of the country and contains China's northernmost point (in Mohe City along the Amur) and easternmost point (at the confluence of the Amur and Ussuri rivers). The province is bordered by Jilin to the south and Inner Mongolia to the west. It also shares a border with Russia ( Amur Oblast, Jewish Autonomous Oblast, Khabarovsk Krai, Primorsky Krai and Zabaykalsky Krai) to the north and east. Acheng District
Acheng District (Manchu Language: Alcuka Hoton) is one of nine districts of the prefecture-level city of Harbin, the capital of Heilongjiang Province, Northeast China, covering part of the southeastern suburbs. The district was approved to establish from the former ''Acheng City'' () by the Chinese State Council on August 15, 2006. , it had a population of 596,856 residing in an area of , and is southeast of downtown Harbin, north of Jilin City, and around south of the Songhua River. Yabuli (town)
Yabuli Ski Resort ( zh, s=亚布力滑雪旅游度假区 , t=亞布力滑雪旅遊度假區 , p=Yàbùlì Huáxuě Lǚyóu Dùjià Qū) is the largest ski resort in China and includes the country's largest ski jumping facilities. It is located in the northeastern province of Heilongjiang, southeast from Harbin, approximately 2.5hrs by train.
