Shahir 'Shaz' Chundra (born 27 May 1980), is a South African actor and filmmaker of Indian descent. He is best known for the roles in the television serials ''Stellenbosch'', ''Professionals'' and ''The World Unseen''. Personal life He was born on 27 May 1980 in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa to an Indian family. Career He started acting at the age of 5 as a child actor. At the age 17, he started a degree in filmmaking at AFDA, The School for the Creative Economy in Johannesburg. After graduation, he directed popular South African SABC youth culture shows including; ''Street Journal'' and ''Kasi 101 and Noted''. The BFI London Film Festival is an annual film festival founded in 1957 and held in the United Kingdom, running for two weeks in October with co-operation from the British Film Institute. It screens more than 300 films, documentaries and shorts from approximately 50 countries. Africa In Motion Film Festival
Africa in Motion (AiM) is an annual African film festival which takes place in Edinburgh, Scotland, in late October/early November. The primary aim of the festival is to offer audiences in Scotland the opportunity to view the best of African cinema from across the continent. AiM 2021 will be the 16th edition showcasing African cinema, the main hosting venue being Edinburgh's Filmhouse Cinema. The festival was founded in 2006 by Lizelle Bisschoff, a South African researcher based in the UK. Programme AiM’s programme includes both contemporary and classic African cinema.
