Seán Loftus (hurler)
Seán Loftus (born 1997) is an Irish hurler who plays for Galway Senior Championship club Turloughmore and at inter-county level with the Galway senior hurling team. He is usually deployed as a corner-back, but can also be deployed at midfield. Playing career Presentation College Athenry Loftus attended the Presentation College in Athenry with whom he played hurling at all grades. On 2 March 2014, he was at left wing-back when the college defeated St. Brigid's College from Loughrea by 1-16 to 0-16 to win the Connacht Championship. On 9 March 2015, he scored a point from left wing-back when Presentation College defeated St. Brigid's College by 0-15 to 0-06 to win a second successive Connacht Championship. On 20 February 2016, Loftus scored 1-02 from play when Presentation College secured their third successive Connacht Championship after a 2-17 to 1-16 defeat of Fort Community School. The GAA Hurling All-Ireland Senior Championship, known simply as the All-Ireland Championship, is an annual Inter county, inter-county hurling competition organised by the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). The Leinster GAA Hurling Senior Championship, known simply as the Leinster Championship, is an annual inter-county hurling competition organised by the Leinster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). It is the highest inter-county hurling competition in the province of Leinster, and has been contested every year since the 1888 championship. The final, usually held on the first Sunday in June, serves as the culmination of a series of games played during May and June, and the results determine which team receives the Bob O'Keeffe Cup. 2017 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship
The 2017 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship was the 130th staging of the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1887. The championship began on 23 April 2017 and ended on 3 September 2017. The draw for the championship was held on 13 October 2016 and was broadcast live on RTÉ2. Tipperary GAA, Tipperary, the 2016 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship, 2016 champions, were defeated by Galway GAA, Galway in the All-Ireland semi-final. Adrian Tuohey
Adrian Tuohey (born 14 May 1993) is an Irish hurler who plays as a right corner-back for club side Beagh and at inter-county level with the Galway senior hurling team. Playing career Club Tuohey joined the Beagh club at a young age and played in all grades at juvenile and underage levels before joining the club's top adult team. Inter-county Minor and under-21 Tuohey first played for Galway as a member of the minor hurling team on 23 July 2011. The 2017 National Hurling League was the 86th season of the National Hurling League for county teams. Paul Killeen (born 24 June 1994) is an Irish hurler who plays as a right corner-back for club side Tynagh-Abbey/Duniry and at inter-county level with the Galway senior hurling team. Playing career College Killeen first came to prominence as a hurler with Portumna Community School. After playing in every grade of hurling during his tenure there, he eventually played in the Connacht Championship with the senior team. National Hurling League
The National Hurling League is an annual Inter county, inter-county hurling competition featuring teams from Ireland and England. Founded in 1925 by the Gaelic Athletic Association, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation within the league system. The league has 35 teams divided into five divisions, with seven teams in each division. Promotion and relegation between these divisions is a central feature of the league.
