Seán Hayes (Gaelic Footballer)
Seán Hayes (born 1960) is an Irish retired Gaelic footballer who played as a centre-forward for the Cork senior team. Born in Cork, Cleary first played competitive Gaelic football during his schooling at Coláiste Chríost Rí. He arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of seventeen when he first linked up with the Cork minor team before later joining the under-21 side. He made his senior debut during the 1981 championship.. At club level Hayes is a three-time All-Ireland medallist with Nemo Rangers. In addition to this he has also won four Munster medals and several championship medals. Throughout his career Hayes made 2 championship appearances. He retired from inter-county football following the conclusion of the 1981 championship. In retirement from playing Hayes became involved in team management and coaching. Nemo Rangers Hurling and Football Club is a Gaelic Athletic Association club in Ballinlough, Cork, Ballinlough, Cork (city), Cork, Republic of Ireland, Ireland. Munster Under-21 Football Championship
The Munster GAA Football Under-20 Championship, known simply as the Munster Under-20 Championship, is an annual inter-county Gaelic football competition organised by the Munster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). It is the highest inter-county football competition for male players between the ages of 17 and 20 in the province of Munster. The championship was contested as the Munster Under-21 Championship between 1962 and 2016 before changing to an under-20 age category from 2018. It is sponsored by EirGrid. The final, currently held in March, serves as the culmination of a series of games played during a three-week period, and the results determine which team receives the Corn na Cásca. John Cleary (Gaelic Footballer)
John Cleary (born 20 June 1963) is an Irish former Gaelic footballer who played as a left corner-forward at senior level for the Cork county team. Born in Castlehaven, County Cork, Cleary first arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of sixteen when he first linked up with the Cork minor team before later joining the under-21 side. He made his senior debut during the 1983 championship. Cleary immediately became a regular member of the starting fifteen and won two All-Ireland medals, three Munster medals and one National Football League medal. He was an All-Ireland runner-up on three occasions. Cleary was a member of the Munster inter-provincial team on a number of occasions but never won a Railway Cup medal. Brian Tuohy is a Gaelic footballer who played with Donegal. He captained Donegal to an All-Ireland Under-21 Title in 1982, was involved when Donegal won an Ulster Senior Title in 1983 and was centre-back in 1988 when Donegal won promotion to Division 1 of the National League for the first time. Timothy Dalton (born 1959) is an Irish retired Gaelic footballer. His league and championship career with the Cork senior team spanned several seasons from 1979 to 1988. Born in Cork, Dalton first played competitive Gaelic football in his youth. He first appeared for the Nemo Rangers club at underage levels, winning back-to-back under-21 championship medals.
