"Seven Thirty-Seven" is the second season premiere episode of the American television drama series ''Breaking Bad,'' and the 8th episode overall. It was written by J. Roberts and directed by cast member Bryan Cranston who portrays central character Walter White. The episode aired on AMC on March 8, 2009. Plot After his purchase of meth from Walter White and Jesse Pinkman, drug kingpin Tuco Salamanca viciously assaults his lieutenant, No-Doze, after he speaks to Walt in Tuco’s place. After Tuco departs, Walt calculates the minimum amount of money he will need to provide for his family, concluding that the figure is $737,000. Tuco suddenly returns demanding that Walt save a convulsive No-Doze. Walter performs chest compressions on him to no avail as No-Doze dies.
