Severiano Ballesteros Sota (; 9 April 1957 – 7 May 2011) was a Spanish professional golfer, a World No. 1 who was one of the sport's leading figures from the mid-1970s to the mid-1990s. A member of a gifted golfing family, he won 90 international tournaments in his career, including five major championships between 1979 and 1988; The Open Championship three times and the Masters Tournament twice. He gained attention in the golfing world in 1976, when at the age of 19, he finished second at The Open. Seve Benson
Seve Benson (born 4 November 1986) is an English professional golfer. Early life and amateur career Benson was born in Guildford, Surrey, and was named after European golfing legend Seve Ballesteros. As an amateur, he was a member of the English Golf Union's Elite A Squad, and won the Russian and Qatar amateur open championships. He went on to make the cut at each of those countries professional championships while still an amateur, finishing tied 58th in the Qatar Masters, and tied for 10th in the Russian Open Golf Championship, Russian Open. Professional career In 2007, Benson turned professional. He attempted to win a place on the European Tour. He reached final stage of the qualifying school, but missed the 72 hole cut. Seve Paeniu (born 11 February 1965) is a Tuvaluan politician. Paeniu was elected to the Parliament of Tuvalu in the 2019 Tuvaluan general election to represent the Nukulaelae electorate. He was appointed as the Minister of Finance in the Natano Ministry. Education and career Paeniu attended Nelson College, New Zealand (1983–1984). Paeniu graduated from Canterbury University in Christchurch, New Zealand, with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1987. He went on to complete a Master of Arts degree in economics in 1995 at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. Alfred De Sève (May or June 1858 – 25 November 1927) was a Canadian violinist, composer, and music educator. His compositional output includes works for violin and piano, solo piano, and orchestra; many of which were published by Arthur P. Schmidt and Charles H. Ditson. Life and career Born in Saint-Henri, Montreal, De Sève was a child prodigy and began studying the violin with Oscar Martel at the age of seven. After just six months of lessons, he gave his first public recital to critical acclaim. He later studied with Frantz Jehin-Prume in Montreal and in 1876 studied in Paris with Pablo de Sarasate, Hubert Léonard, and Lambert Massart. From 1877 to 1879 he studied with Henri Vieuxtemps in Paris and during that time served as Isabella II of Spain's court violinist in addition to his active career as a concert violinist with a number of Paris orchestras and musical ensembles. Jacques De Sève
Jacques de Sève (fl. 1742 – 1788) was a French illustrator. Career De Sève was commissioned by Georges-Louis Leclerc, Comte de Buffon to provide the quadruped illustrations for '' Histoire naturelle, générale et particulière'' (1749-1778, in 36 volumes) (François-Nicolas Martinet did the birds) and then Buffon's ''Recueil de Vingtquatre Plantes et Fleurs'' (1772). He also illustrated work by Duhamel du Monceau, Claude Perrault (later editions) and parts of Encyclopédie Méthodique. His illustrations are sometimes exact anatomical representations or show the animals against landscape backgrounds. They were engraved by Louis Le Grand. Peter de Sève is an American artist who has worked in the illustration and animation fields. He has drawn many covers for the magazine ''The New Yorker''. As a character designer, he worked on the characters of ''A Bug's Life'', ''Finding Nemo'', ''Robots'', the ''Ice Age'' franchise, and on the main animal character E.B. (voiced by Russell Brand) in the 2011 Easter-themed comedy film '' Hop''. Most recently, he designed the characters for ''Arthur Christmas'', for which he was nominated for Annie Award.
