Setyana Mapasa
Setyana Daniella Florensia Mapasa (born 15 August 1995) is an Indonesian-born Australian badminton player. Mapasa won a silver medal at the 2013 BWF World Junior Championships mixed team when she represented Indonesia. She officially became an Australian citizen in 2014. She was selected to join the national team compete at the Badminton at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia. She was four times women's doubles Oceania Badminton Championships, Oceania champions from 2017 to 2020 with her partner Gronya Somerville, also two times champion in the mixed doubles event in 2017 and 2018 alongside Sawan Serasinghe. Mapasa represented Australia at the Badminton at the 2020 Summer Olympics – Women's doubles, 2020 Summer Olympics. The Badminton World Federation, aka BWF, is the international governing body for the sport of badminton approved by the International Olympic Committee. It was founded on 5 July 1934 as the International Badminton Federation with nine member nations: Canada, Denmark, England, France, Ireland, Netherlands, New Zealand, Scotland and Wales. Tiffany Celine Ho (born 6 January 1998) is an Australian badminton player. She won the women's doubles title at the Oceania Championships in 2016 partnered with Jennifer Tam, and then crowned as the women's singles champion in 2024. Badminton is a racquet sport played using racquets to hit a shuttlecock across a net. Although it may be played with larger teams, the most common forms of the game are "singles" (with one player per side) and "doubles" (with two players per side). Badminton is often played as a casual outdoor activity in a yard or on a beach; professional games are played on a rectangular indoor court.
