Nothing (band)
Nothing is an American shoegaze band formed in 2010 by vocalist-guitarist Domenic "Nicky" Palermo. The band has had a revolving lineup throughout its career, with Palermo being the sole constant member following the departure of longtime guitarist-vocalist Brandon Setta in 2019. The two guitarists shared songwriting duties during Setta's tenure in Nothing. The band self-released several EPs before signing to Relapse Records. They released their debut studio album, ''Guilty of Everything (Nothing album), Guilty of Everything'', in 2014. The follow-up album, ''Tired of Tomorrow'', was released on in 2016. Nothing's third studio album, ''Dance on the Blacktop'', was released in 2018, and their fourth studio album, ''The Great Dismal'', was released in 2020. Nicholas Setta (born May 6, 1981) is a former professional Canadian football placekicker and punter. He played college football for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Early years Setta attended Lockport Township High School in Lockport, Illinois. While at Lockport High, he set the Illinois high school football record for longest field goal (59 yards). He also set the school record of 6'10" in the high jump, won 2 state titles as a member of the Lockport Porters cross country team, and won a state title in the 800m long distance run. College career Setta played four seasons (2000–03) at the University of Notre Dame where he successfully completed 46 of 66 field goal attempts, the second highest field goal total in Notre Dame football history. Salli Setta (born March 3, 1965) is an American restaurateur and businesswoman. She is the former President of Red Lobster and Executive Vice President of Olive Garden American restaurant chains owned by parent company, Golden Gate Capital. Setta was named president in 2013, while Red Lobster was operated by Darden Restaurants, Inc. She served as the Executive Vice President of Marketing for Red Lobster from 2005 until July 2013, when she was named president.
