Serhiy Bashkyrov
Serhiy Hennadiyovych Bashkyrov ( uk, Сергій Геннадійович Башкиров; 11 March 1959 – 19 September 2023) was a Soviet and Ukrainian football coach and player. Personal life and death Native of the Volga Region Chuvashia, Bashkyrov married one of a pair of twin sisters, together with another Ukrainian football coach Oleh Taran. His daughter Natalya is the wife of the Croatian international footballer Mladen Bartulović. Serhiy Bashkyrov died on 19 September 2023, at the age of 64. Shumerlya (russian: Шу́мерля; cv, Çĕмĕрле, ''Śĕmĕrle'') is a town in the Chuvash Republic, Russia, located on the right bank of the Sura River on the Nizhny Novgorod–Ulyanovsk highway. The Soviet Top League, known after 1970 as the Higher League (russian: Чемпионат СССР по футболу: Высшая лига), served as the top division of Soviet Union football from 1936 until 1991. The professional top level of football competition among clubs was established in 1936 on proposition of Nikolai Starostin and was approved by the All-Union Council of Physical Culture. Originally it was named Group A. After World War II it became known as the First Group. In 1950, after another reform of football in the Soviet Union, the First Group was replaced with Class A. By 1970, the Class A had expanded to three tiers with the top tier known as the Higher Group which in 1971 was renamed into the Higher League. It was one of the best football leagues in Europe, ranking second among the UEFA members in 1988–89 seasons. Mladen Bartulović (born 5 October 1986) is a Croatian footballer manager and former player. He spent most of his playing career in Ukrainian Premier League representing various clubs from Central Ukraine: FC Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih, Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih, FC Vorskla Poltava, Vorskla Poltava, FC Inhulets Petrove, Inhulets Petrove, and others.
