The Ascension Cathedral, commonly known as the Serbian Orthodox Cathedral (; ), is the cathedral of the Eparchy of Temišvar, Serbian Orthodox Eparchy of Timișoara. Located in the Union Square, Timișoara, Union Square of Cetate, Timișoara, Cetate district, the building is one of the three Serbian Orthodox Church, Serbian Orthodox church (building), churches in the city together with the St. George Serbian Church, Timișoara, St. George Church in Fabric, Timișoara, Fabric district and the St. Nicholas Serbian Church, Timișoara, St. Nicholas Church in the Avram Iancu Square of Mehala district.
