Sensibili alle foglie () is a publishing co-operative. The group was founded by Renato Curcio in 1990, after meeting with Stefano Petrelli and in prison. All three men were imprisoned members of the Red Brigades militant group (Curcio was the leader of the group). The publishing house dealt with themes of criminality, and the history of Italian terrorism. They had a specific focus on publishing content from migrant writers in prison on controversial topics. Sensibili alle foglie published Fernanda Farias de Albuquerque's 1994 autobiography ''Princesa'', which deals with her identity as a Brazilian migrant trans woman as well as a Transgender sex workers, sex worker. Hassan Itab's ''La tana della iena'' (1991; "The Hyena's Den"), which was an autobiography of his life as a Palestinian militant integrating into Italian society. Folly
In architecture, a folly is a building constructed primarily for decoration, but suggesting through its appearance some other purpose, or of such extravagant appearance that it transcends the range of usual garden buildings. Renato Curcio
Renato Curcio (; born 23 September 1941) is the former leader of the Italian far-left terrorist organization Red Brigades (''Brigate Rosse''), responsible among other facts of the kidnapping and murder of the former Italian prime minister Aldo Moro. Early life Born of an extramarital affair between Renato Zampa (brother of film director Luigi Zampa) and Jolanda Curcio, Curcio was born at Monterotondo, in the province of Rome. His early years were a difficult time for him and his mother, a housemaid, whose itinerant positions with families required long separations. In April 1945, Curcio's beloved uncle, Armando, a Fiat auto worker, was murdered in a fascist ambush. The death of Uncle Armando caused Curcio to develop a hatred towards the Nazis and fascists. Red Brigades
The Red Brigades ( , often abbreviated BR) were an Italian far-left Marxist–Leninist militant group. It was responsible for numerous violent incidents during Italy's Years of Lead, including the kidnapping and murder of Aldo Moro in 1978, a former prime minister of Italy through the organic centre-left. The assassination of Moro was a national shock in Italy, as was that of left-wing trade unionist Guido Rossa in January 1979. Fernanda Farias de Albuquerque (1963 – 13 May 2000), was a Brazilian trans woman ( travesti) and author. She is best known for her autobiography ''Princesa'' (Princess), which is a name she sometimes used as a pseudonym. Biography Fernanda Farias de Albuquerque was born in the Brazilian countryside in the Alagoa Grande municipality of Paraíba, in 1963. She grew up without her father in a family in poverty. She was sexually abused as a child and, shortly thereafter, ran away from her maternal home. A trans woman or transgender woman is a woman who was assigned male at birth. Transgender sex workers are transgender people who work in the sex industry or perform sexual services in exchange for money or other forms of payment. In general, sex workers appear to be at great risk for serious health problems related to their profession, such as physical and sexual assault, robbery, murder, physical and mental health problems, and drug and alcohol addiction. Hassan Itab (born Mustafa Hassan Abu Omar) was a pro-Palestinian militant and author. He is known for bombing a British Airways office in Rome on 25 September 1986, injuring 15 people, following the Sabra and Shatila massacre.
