Selmir Pidro
Selmir Pidro (; born 3 March 1998) is a Bosnian professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Bosnian Premier League club Velež Mostar on loan from St. Louis City. He also played for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team. Pidro started his professional career at Sarajevo, who loaned him to Bosna Visoko in 2018. In 2022, he was unveiled as St. Louis City’s first signing in Major League Soccer. A former youth international for Bosnia and Herzegovina, Pidro made his senior international debut in 2021. Club career Sarajevo Pidro started playing at his hometown club Iskra Bugojno, before joining Sarajevo's youth academy in 2014. Bugojno
Bugojno ( sr-cyrl, Бугојно) is a town and municipality in the Central Bosnia Canton of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, an entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is situated on the river Vrbas, to the northwest of Sarajevo. According to the 2013 census, the town has a population of 15,555 inhabitants, with 31,470 inhabitants in the municipality. The 2019–20 season was Sarajevo's 71st season in existence, and their 26th consecutive season in the top flight of Bosnian football, the Premier League of BiH. Besides competing in the Premier League, the team also competed in the National Cup. Sarajevo competed in the qualifications for the UEFA Champions League, as well as competing in the qualifications for the UEFA Europa League. The season covers the period from 14 June 2019 to 1 June 2020. The Czech Cup (), officially known as the MOL Cup for sponsorship reasons, is the major men's football cup competition in the Czech Republic. It is organised by the Czech Football Association.
