Selda Akgöz
Selda Akgöz (born June 9, 1993) is a Turkish women's footballer who plays as a goalkeeper in the Turkish Women's Football Super League for Ankara BB Fomget GS. She is a member of the Turkey women's team. Early years Selda Akgöz was born in Çaycuma town of Zonguldak Province on June 9, 1993. Already in school years, she began playing handball before she switched over to volleyball. In the end, she found herself in football through her teacher's suggestion. From the beginning on, she wanted to be a goalkeeper and got enthusiastic about diving save, which she still performs. Club career Selda Akgöz obtained her license on March 5, 2009, for the Regional League team Ovacık Gençlik Spor in Karabük. İdmanocağı or İdman Ocağı is a Turkish sports club based in Trabzon, Turkey. The club had a strong rivalry with another club, İdmangücü, which matched the The Intercontinental Derby (football), Istanbul derby between Fenerbahçe S.K., Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray S.K., Galatasaray. İdmanocağı were compared to Galatasaray in that period, partly because of this rivalry and partly because of their red and yellow colours. The Georgia women's national football team represents Georgia in international football. Georgia took part in the world cup qualification group 7 for the 1999 FIFA Women's World Cup, but withdrew after two matches, against Yugoslavia (0–11) and Turkey (0–1). The 2024–25 Turkish Women's Football Super League () is the 29th season of Turkey's top women's football league. Gaziantep
Gaziantep, historically Aintab and still informally called Antep, is a major city in south-central Turkey. It is the capital of the Gaziantep Province, in the westernmost part of Turkey's Southeastern Anatolia Region and partially in the Mediterranean Region. A total of 40 teams competed in the qualifying round to decide 12 of the 32 places in the knockout phase of the 2018–19 UEFA Women's Champions League.
