Seeed
Seeed is a German Hip hop music, hip hop, reggae and dancehall band based in Berlin. Founded in 1998, they have become well known in Germany and its neighboring countries. Musical style and lyrics Seeed consists of eleven band members, including three singers, a horn section and a DJ. Seeed is recognized for their catchy fusional mix of German hip hop, reggae and dancehall styles and their use of horns, which is unusual in contemporary popular music. They have worked with Cee-Lo Green, Anthony B, Tanya Stephens, General Degree as well as other Jamaican artists and producers. Almost all of their music releases feature a popular guest experience. Seeed's lyrics are in German, English and Jamaican Patois, Patois. Their biggest hits in the German Sprachraum were "Dickes B", "Aufstehn", "Ding" and "Music Monks". Pierre Steffen Baigorry (born 3 September 1971), better known as Peter Fox, is a German singer, rapper, songwriter and musician. He is a member of the German reggae and dancehall band Seeed. Solo career Fox started working on a solo album named ''Stadtaffe'' ("Urban Ape") in 2007. The album was released in Germany on 26 September 2008. Monk and DJ Illvibe co-produced the album,MySpace-Blog of Peter Fox (Stadtaffe: 6 August 2008 – Fieber: 1 November 2007) and the Deutsches Filmorchester Babelsberg and Cold Steel Drumline contributed to the music. Echo Music Prize (stylised as ECHO, ) was an accolade by the , an association of recording companies of Germany to recognize outstanding achievement in the music industry. The first ECHO Awards ceremony was held in 1992, and was set up to honor musical accomplishments by performers for the year 1991, succeeding the Deutscher Schallplattenpreis, which was awarded from 1963 to 2018. O'Neil Bryan (born 11 September 1975), better known by his stage name Elephant Man, is a Jamaican dancehall musician, having formerly been a member of the dancehall group Scare Dem Crew prior to his solo career.
