The album consisted of three tracks each from The Boo Radleys, Scorpio Rising, Dr. Phibes and the House of Wax Equations and Leatherface Leatherface is a fictional character in ''The Texas Chainsaw Massacre'' film series created by Kim Henkel and Tobe Hooper. Imaginary Records
Imaginary Records was an independent record label based in Heywood, Greater Manchester, England, which specialised mainly in indie rock and post-punk. Mark Radcliffe (radio Broadcaster)
Mark Radcliffe (born 29 June 1958) is an English radio broadcaster, musician and writer. He is best known for his broadcasting work for the BBC, for which he has worked in various roles since the 1980s. Radcliffe began his broadcasting career in local commercial radio in Manchester before a move to the national station BBC Radio 5, where he met and formed a partnership with Marc Riley, a former guitarist with the Fall. In 1991 he moved to BBC Radio 1, closely followed by Riley with whom, under the moniker Mark and Lard, he worked for 11 years on the station. The pair's stint on Radio 1 included a brief and opinion-dividing spell on the flagship '' Radio 1 Breakfast'' and a subsequent afternoon slot show that garnered three prestigious Sony Radio Academy Awards. When the Mark and Lard duo left BBC Radio 1 in 2004, Radcliffe joined BBC Radio 2 and has also presented various TV shows for the BBC, including its coverage of the Glastonbury Festival. The Boo Radleys
The Boo Radleys are an English alternative rock band who were associated with the shoegazing and Britpop movements in the 1990s. They originally formed in Wallasey, England in 1988, with Rob Harrison on drums, singer/guitarist Simon "Sice" Rowbottom, guitarist/ songwriter Martin Carr, and bassist Timothy Brown. Their name is taken from the character Boo Radley in Harper Lee's 1960 novel, '' To Kill a Mockingbird''. Shortly after the release of their first album ''Ichabod and I'', Steve Hewitt replaced Robert Harrison on drums and was in turn replaced by Rob Cieka. The band split up in 1999. In their 11-year-long career, the band had one top ten single, the 1995 single " Wake Up Boo!", which charted at no. 9; and a number one album, ''Wake Up!''. The band reunited in 2021, without original guitarist Martin Carr, and released a single, "A Full Syringe and Memories of You," their first new music since 1998. Scorpio Rising were an English rock band from Birkenhead active from 1989 to 1994. History Scorpio Rising was formed in Birkenhead in 1989.Strong, Martin C. Leatherface (band)
Leatherface were a British punk rock band from Sunderland, Tyne and Wear, fronted by Frankie Stubbs. ''Trouser Press'' called them "England's finest, most exciting punk band of the 90s" and ''The Guardian'' has called them "the greatest British punk band of the modern era." History and background Formed in August 1988 by Frankie Stubbs and Dickie Hammond (also of HDQ), Leatherface released four full-length albums before their initial split in 1993.
