Sebastián Gutiérrez Atehortua (born 29 September 1997) is a Colombian professional footballer who plays as a forward for the I-League club Churchill Brothers. Club career Patriotas On 2 September 2016, Gutiérrez made his senior debut for Categoría Primera A side Patriotas in the Copa Colombia, which would be his only appearance of the season. The following season, he made six league appearances for Patriotas and two appearances in the Copa Colombia. Llaneros In 2018, Gutiérrez joined Categoría Primera B side Llaneros, making eight league appearances and six in the league finals, where he scored two goals in a 5–0 win over Cortuluá. The following season, he scored eight goals in 27 appearances in league play, and made another six appearances in the Torneo I finals. York United On 15 December 2020, Gutiérrez signed with Canadian Premier League side York United. 2021 Canadian Championship
The 2021 Canadian Championship was the fourteenth edition of the Canadian Championship, contested from August 15 to November 21, 2021. The winners of the tournament, CF Montréal, were awarded the Voyageurs Cup and earned a berth in the 2022 CONCACAF Champions League. Format The competition followed a similar format to the originally proposed 2020 edition with four rounds and regional pairings in the first two rounds. For the first time in the Canadian Championship, each tie was played as a single-leg fixture. CF Montréal, Forge FC, and Toronto FC entered the tournament in the quarter-finals due to their placements in the 2019 and 2020 editions of the competition. 2018 Categoría Primera B Season
The 2018 Categoría Primera B season (officially known as the 2018 Torneo Águila season for sponsorship reasons) was the 29th season since its founding as Colombia's second division football league. The competition started on 10 February and concluded on 26 November. Cúcuta Deportivo were the champions by defeating Unión Magdalena 3–0 on aggregate score in the final. Both teams were also promoted to the Categoría Primera A. Format For this season, the league returned to the 'one tournament per year' format. The season will consist of three stages. In the first stage, the 16 clubs played each other twice, once at home and once away. Similar to the 2018 Primera A season, the extra matches against a regional rival were not played. The top eight teams after the thirty rounds advanced to the semifinal round where they were sorted into two groups of four and played a double round-robin tournament group stage, with the top team of each group qualifying to the finals.
