Francisco Sebastián Córdova Reyes (born 12 June 1997) is a Mexican professional Association football, footballer who plays as a midfielder for Liga MX club Tigres UANL and the Mexico national football team, Mexico national team. Club career América Born in Aguascalientes City, Aguascalientes, Córdova joined the Club América Reserves and Academy, youth academy of Club América in 2015. A year later, he was loaned out to Ascenso MX side Alebrijes de Oaxaca, where he made just two appearances between the league and Copa MX, playing a total of 21 minutes; in his sole Ascenso MX appearance, Córdova came on as an 85th-minute substitute against Murciélagos F.C., Murciélagos in Oaxaca's 4–1 victory. He played 16 minutes in Oaxaca's scoreless draw against the same opposition in the Copa MX. At the end of his loan spell, Córdova returned to the youth team of Club America. The Mexico national football team () represents Mexico in men's international association football, football and is governed by the Mexican Football Federation, Federación Mexicana de Fútbol (). It has been a member of FIFA since 1929 and competes as a member of CONCACAF since 1961, of which it was one of the founding members. Liga MX
Liga MX, also known as Liga BBVA MX for sponsorship reasons, is a professional association football league in Mexico and the highest level of the Mexican football league system. Formerly known as Liga Mayor (1943–1949) and also as Primera División de México (1949–2012), it has 18 participating clubs, with each season divided into two short tournaments, ''Apertura'' from July to December and ''Clausura'' from January to May. The champions are decided by a final phase called ''"liguilla"''. Since 2020, promotion and relegation has been suspended, which is to last until 2026. Cantera, literally meaning "quarry" in Spanish, is a term used in Spain to refer to youth academies and farm teams organized by sports clubs. It is also used to refer to the geographical area that clubs recruit players from. The term is widely used in football but is also applied to other sports, such as basketball. This article, however, is about the football ''canteras''. Notable canteras include those of Athletic Bilbao, Real Sociedad, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atlético Madrid, Espanyol, Sporting de Gijón, Celta de Vigo, Valencia and Osasuna. The 2021–22 Liga MX season (known as the Liga BBVA MX for sponsorship reasons) was the 75th professional season of the top-flight football league in Mexico. The season was divided into two championships—the Apertura 2021 and the Clausura 2022—each in an identical format and each contested by the same eighteen teams. Leonel Jesús Vangioni Rangel (born 5 May 1987) is an Argentine footballer who plays as a left-back for Quilmes in the Primera Nacional. He has represented the Argentina national team.
