Sean Reid-Foley
Sean Ian Reid-Foley (born August 30, 1995) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Arizona Diamondbacks organization. He has previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Toronto Blue Jays and New York Mets. He made his MLB debut in 2018. Early life Reid-Foley was born in Guam while his father, Dave Foley, was assigned there while serving in the United States Coast Guard. Reid-Foley attended Sandalwood High School in Jacksonville, Florida. As a junior in 2013, he threw a no-hitter with 16 strikeouts in a game against Flagler Palm Coast High School. The Lansing Lugnuts are a Minor League Baseball team of the Midwest League and the High-A affiliate of the Athletics (baseball), Athletics. A Class A Short Season league for most of its history, the league was promoted to High-A as part of Major League Baseball's 2021 reorganization of the minor leagues.
