VicScreen, formerly known as Film Victoria, is the Victoria State Government's creative and economic screen development agency. It supports screen industry professionals, infrastructure, projects and events, promoting the state of Victoria as a filmmaking hub. The Victoria State Government, also referred to as the Victorian Government, is the executive government of the Australian state of Victoria. Nadia Tass (born Tassopoulou or Tassopoulos; ), is an Australian theatre and film director and film producer. She mostly makes films with her writer-producer husband David Parker, through their production company Cascade Films. Tass is known for the films ''Malcolm'' (1986) and '' The Big Steal'' (1990), as well as an extensive body of work in the theatre, both in Australia and internationally. Screen Queensland Studios
Screen Queensland Studios are a set of film studios operated by Screen Queensland in Queensland, Australia. They are available for rental by film makers. The first film studios opened in 2019 in Hemmant, Brisbane. In April 2024, another set of films studios will be opened in Portsmith, Cairns. Screen Queensland also partners with Village Roadshow Studios at Oxenford on the Gold Coast. Roger Savage
Roger Savage is an Australian sound engineer of music and film. He engineered Australian popular music recordings in the 1960s, and worked on films from the 1980s onwards. He was nominated for an Oscar for his work on ''Moulin Rouge!'' in 2002. Career Roger Savage worked at Olympic Studios in London, where he had recorded demos with Mick Jagger and Dusty Springfield. After marrying an Australian woman, Savage moved from England to Australia. In January 1964, he recorded a song at Telefil Studios (on the site of what became Memo Music Hall), "I Belong With You", by Bobby Bright and Laurie Allen, which topped the Melbourne music charts for two weeks. Deborah Cox (born 29 January 1958) is an Australian screenwriter and producer for television and film. Cox started working in the television industry as a production assistant for the Crawford Productions television series ''Skyways''. It was at Crawfords that she met her long-time writing and producing partner, Andrew Knight, and the duo would later go on to found a production company, CoxKnight Productions.
