Scott Wilson (born 1962) is Professor in Media and Cultural Studies in the School of Humanities at Kingston University, London, and member of The London Graduate School. Kingston University London is a Public university, public research university located within the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, in South London, South West London, England. Georges Albert Maurice Victor Bataille (; ; 10 September 1897 – 8 July 1962) was a French philosopher and intellectual working in philosophy, literature, sociology, anthropology, and history of art. His writing, which included essays, novels, and poetry, explored such subjects as eroticism, mysticism, surrealism, and Transgressive fiction, transgression. His work would prove influential on subsequent schools of philosophy and social theory, including post-structuralism.
