Scooby-Doo! Classic Creep Capers
''Scooby-Doo! Classic Creep Capers'' is an adventure game published by THQ for the Nintendo 64 and Game Boy Color, based on the Hanna-Barbera cartoon '' Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!''. The Nintendo 64 version, developed by Terraglyph Interactive Studios, was released in November 2000, while the Game Boy Color version was developed by Digital Eclipse Software, and released in February 2001. A PlayStation version, identical to the Nintendo 64 version, had been in development by Terraglyph Interactive Studios but was later cancelled. Gameplay The Nintendo 64 game follows the Mystery Inc. investigating a crime ring run by a mysterious ghoul king through four levels. The first three levels retell three episodes of '' Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!'' ("What a Night for a Knight", "That's Snow Ghost", and "A Tiki Scare is No Fair") while the fourth is an original mystery. ''TerraGlyph Interactive Studios'' was a multi-platform game development studio located in Schaumburg, IL and was founded in 1994. The company was the game development division of the TerraGlyph group of companies, which also includes a feature animation studio in Dublin Ireland, a web/media services division and a business visualization company both located near Chicago, IL. Terraglyph's main product line consisted of beautifully rendered CDROM-based children's games. Originally, their concept was to create several edutainment games based on classic fairy tales such as Hansel and Gretel that were both fun to play as well as developed in 5 different languages for kids to learn new languages as they played. GameRankings was a video gaming review aggregator that was founded in 1999 and owned by CBS Interactive. It indexed over 315,000 articles relating to more than 14,500 video games. GameRankings was discontinued in December 2019, with its staff being merged with the similar aggregator Metacritic. Rankings GameRankings collected and linked to (but did not host) reviews from other websites and magazines and averages specific ones. While hundreds of reviews may get listed, only the ones that GameRankings deemed notable were used for the average. Scores were culled from numerous American and European sources. The site used a percentage grade for all reviews in order to be able to calculate an average. The list of Nintendo 64 games includes licensed releases spanning from the platform's launch in 1996 to the final release in 2002. The Nintendo 64 home video game console's library of games were primarily released in a plastic ROM cartridge called the Game Pak. This strategic choice of high-performance but lower-capacity medium was met with some controversy compared to CD-ROM. Two small indentations on the back of each cartridge allows it to connect or pass through the system's cartridge dustcover flaps. All regions have the same connectors, and region-locked cartridges will fit into the other regions' systems by using a cartridge converter or by simply removing the cartridge's casing. Paragon Publishing Ltd (or Paragon for short) was a magazine publisher in the UK, which published computer games and other entertainment titles from 1991 to 2003. Brief history Paragon Publishing Ltd was formed in a small office in Trowbridge, Wiltshire by ex-Future Publishing staff Richard Monteiro and Diane Tavener. With a small team of staff they began work on their first publication '' Sega Pro''. With the success of ''Sega Pro'' the company began expanding and launched several other titles, hiring more staff to produce these new titles.
