Schuylerville, Bronx
Schuylerville (nicknamed "Skyville") is a middle-class neighborhood located in the East Bronx area of New York City. Housing is mostly single-family and two-family houses. It is located next to other middle-to-upper-class residential neighborhoods of Country Club and Pelham Bay. Schuylerville is a small enclave situated between the Bruckner Expressway and the Hutchinson River Parkway, with suburban style. It is a predominantly Italian neighborhood, with small Hispanic and black populations. Saint Raymond's Cemetery is in the southwestern part. Since the rise of the housing market the neighborhood has seen various luxury developments, including condos and newly built two-family houses. Bruckner Expressway
The Bruckner Expressway is a freeway in the borough of the Bronx in New York City. It carries Interstate 278 and Interstate 95 from the Triborough Bridge to the south end of the New England Thruway at the Pelham Parkway interchange. The highway follows a mostly northeast–southwest alignment through the southern portion of the borough, loosely paralleling the course of the East River. It connects to several major freeways including the Bronx River Parkway, the Cross Bronx Expressway, Interstate 678, and the Hutchinson River Parkway. The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) operates a number of bus routes in the Bronx, New York, United States. Co-op City (short for Cooperative City) is a cooperative housing development located in the northeast section of the borough of the Bronx in New York City. It is bounded by Interstate 95 to the southwest, west, and north and the Hutchinson River Parkway to the east and southeast, and is partially in the Baychester and Eastchester neighborhoods. With 43,752 residents as of the 2010 United States Census, it is the largest housing cooperative in the world. It is in New York City Council District 12. Orchard Beach (Bronx)
Orchard Beach (sometimes called the Bronx Riviera) is the only public beach in the New York City borough of the Bronx. The , beach is part of Pelham Bay Park and is situated on the western end of Long Island Sound. The beach consists of a 13-section sandy shorefront, a hexagonal-block promenade, and a central pavilion with food stores and specialty shops.
