Schussen
The Schussen () is a tributary of Lake Constance (), which drains to the High Rhine, in the southern portion of Upper Swabia in Baden-Württemberg (Germany). Course From its source, not far from the Lake Feder, around north of Bad Schussenried, where it runs down the watershed between the Rhine and the Danube, to the Bodensee. The river passes south of Aulendorf through its own valley in the northern part of the Altdorf Forests, through the Schussen ravine by Durlesbach and by Mochewangen (Wolpertswende), and from there into the broad Schussen Valley. The valley was not created by the river itself, but rather during one of the Ice Ages. From there it runs past the small city of Weingarten, and, further, by Ravensburg and through the district of Meckenbeuren, before it flows out into Upper Lake Constance () in the vicinity of Eriskirch, at the Eriskircher wetlands. Bad Schussenried
Bad Schussenried (; Swabian: ''Schussariad'') is a spa town in Upper Swabia in the district of Biberach, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It lies on the Upper Swabian Baroque Route and the Swabian Spa Route. Schussenried Abbey, a former monastery founded in 1183, is located in Bad Schussenried. Its church and Baroque library feature impressive architecture and artwork, including intricate ceiling frescoes. The town is also home to a beer stein museum, the Schussenrieder Bierkrug Museum. Bad Schussenried had a population of 8,537 at the end of 2015. Geography Bad Schussenried is located between Ulm and Lake Constance on the river Schussen. Weingarten, Württemberg
Weingarten (; ; ) is a town with a population of 25,000 () in Württemberg, in the Ravensburg (district), District of Ravensburg, in the valley of the Schussen River. Together with the southern neighbour cities of Ravensburg and Friedrichshafen on Lake Constance (Bodensee), it forms one of 14 medium-sized infrastructural centres in Baden-Württemberg. The town is seat of the University of Applied Sciences of Ravensburg-Weingarten (''Hochschule Ravensburg-Weingarten'') and of the Teachers' College of Weingarten (''Pädagogische Hochschule Weingarten''). Obersee (Lake Constance)
The ''Obersee'' ('Upper Lake'), also known as Upper Lake Constance, is the much larger of the two parts of Lake Constance, the other part being the '' Untersee'' ().
