Sašo Mijalkov
Sašo Mijalkov (born 15 September 1965) was the ninth director of the Administration for Security and Counterintelligence (UBK) of the Republic of Macedonia. Family Sašo Mijalkov is the son of Jordan Mijalkov, the first Interior Minister of the Republic of Macedonia. He is first cousin of Nikola Gruevski the former Prime Minister of the Republic of Macedonia. He is married to Aleksandra Mijalkova. Education Mijalkov holds an Economy degree from Ss. Cyril and Methodius University of Skopje and a master's degree from Prague University. Career From 1998 till 2000 Mijalkov was employed in the Ministry of Defense of Macedonia, from 2000 till 2001 he was adviser to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Macedonia, and from August 29, 2006 to May 12, 2015 he was the Director of UBK. A report by the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project states Mijalkov fails to report his investments as required by law. Law Enforcement In The Republic Of Macedonia
Law enforcement in North Macedonia is the responsibility of the Police of the Republic of North Macedonia (). The police headquarters are located in Skopje at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and also maintain an air base in nearby Idrizovo. The Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List, also known as the SDN List, is a United States government sanctions/embargo measure targeting U.S.-designated terrorists, officials and beneficiaries of certain authoritarian regimes, and international criminals (e.g. drug traffickers). The list is administered by the U.S. Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). When individuals are added to the list of Specially Designated Nationals (SDN), their U.S. assets are blocked. Nikola Gruevski
Nikola Gruevski (, pronounced ; born 31 August 1970) is a former Macedonian politician who served as Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Prime Minister of Macedonia from 2006 until his resignation, which was caused by the 2016 Macedonian protests, and led the VMRO-DPMNE party from 2004 to 2017. He is the longest serving post-independence Macedonian prime minister, serving more than nine years in office.
