Saša Nikolić
Saša Nikolić (; born 30 April 1964) is a Serbian football manager and former player. Playing career After starting out at Dinamo Zagreb, Nikolić went on to play for Čelik Zenica during the 1988–89 Yugoslav First League. He lastly played for Železnik in the First League of FR Yugoslavia, before hanging up his boots. Managerial career After serving as an assistant at Železnik, Nikolić took over as the club's manager in May 2002, replacing Goran Stevanović. He quickly proved his talent and was voted the best manager in FR Yugoslavia for 2002 in a poll organized by ''Politika''. In August 2003, Nikolić parted ways with the club. He then moved abroad to China and briefly managed Henan Jianye, before returning to Železnik as manager in November 2004. During the second part of the 2004–05 season, Nikolić served as the club's sporting director. Slovenj Gradec
Slovenj Gradec (; '', ''after about 1900 ''Windischgraz'') is a town in northern Slovenia. It is the centre of the Urban Municipality of Slovenj Gradec. It is part of the historical Styria region, and since 2005 it has belonged to the NUTS-3 Carinthia Statistical Region. It is located in the Mislinja Valley at the eastern end of the Karawanks mountain range, about west of Maribor and northeast of Ljubljana. FK Bežanija () is a football club based in Bežanija, Belgrade, Serbia. They compete in the Belgrade Zone League, the fourth tier of the national league system. History Founded in 1921, the club changed its name several times in its early stages, being known as Soko, BSK and finally HŠK (during the Axis occupation of Yugoslavia). They adopted the new name Jedinstvo following the end of World War II in 1946, becoming a member of the Novi Sad Football Association. Srđan Vasiljević
Srđan Vasiljević (; born 1 April 1973) is a Serbian football manager and former player. Playing career Vasiljević came through the youth system of Red Star Belgrade. He went on to play for Radnički Beograd, Borac Čačak (twice), Obilić, Rad and Sartid Smederevo, before moving abroad. In early 2001, Vasiljević signed with Romanian club Dinamo București. He then joined Kazakhstan Premier League side Kairat in 2002, appearing in nine championship games that year. Vasiljević also made two appearances in the 2002–03 UEFA Cup. The 2004–05 First League of Serbia and Montenegro (officially known as the Meridian PrvaLiga for sponsorship reasons) was the third season of the Serbia and Montenegro's top-level football league since its establishment. It was contested by 16 teams, and FK Partizan won the championship. Goran Stevanović (, ; born 27 November 1966) is a Serbian football manager and former player. Playing career He started his career in Partizan, a club where he passed all categories, from the pioneer youth side to the senior side. He played a total of 328 games and scored 79 goals. He won the league title with Partizan twice: in 1985–86 and 1986–87. He played abroad in Spain in Portugal, playing for Osasuna (1991–1993), Farense (1993–1994), Vitória Setúbal (1994–1996), Campomaiorense (1996) and União da Madeira (1996–1997). For the last two seasons of his career (1997–1999), he played for Greek clubs Veria and Panelefsiniakos. He played for the pioneer, U20, U21, Olympic and A national teams. First League Of FR Yugoslavia
The First League of Serbia and Montenegro () was the top football league of Serbia and Montenegro, before the country's dissolution in 2006. The league was formed as the First League of FR Yugoslavia following the breakup of Yugoslavia in 1992, effectively succeeding the Yugoslav First League. Prior to its final 2005–06 season, the league became known as the Serbia and Montenegro Super League. From 1993 to 1998, the league abandoned the traditional single-league structure, which was used in the first season, and the division was split into two groups; Group A (known as IA) for the top-seeded teams and Group B (IB) for the other teams. 1988–89 Yugoslav First League
The 1988–89 Yugoslav First League season was the 43rd season of the First Federal League (), the top level association football competition of SFR Yugoslavia, since its establishment in 1946. The season began on 6 August 1988 with its fall part completing on 18 December 1988. Following a two-month winter break, the season resumed on 26 February 1989 and ran until 4 June 1989. New rule: "Šajber's penalties" The season saw the introduction of a new way of awarding points when a league match ends in a draw. Two points were still being awarded for a win, while in case of a draw at the end of the ninety minutes — penalty kicks were taken and the shootout winner was awarded one point while the loser got nothing.
