Saša Nikitović
Saša Nikitović ( sr-cyr, Саша Никитовић, born 12 June 1979), is a Serbian professional basketball coach and former player. He is a former coach of FMP of the Basketball League of Serbia and ABA League. Playing career Nikitović played for Crvena zvezda, Radnički Obrenovac, Umka, Doboj (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and CSU Sibiu of the Romanian League. Coaching career In 2004, Nikitović began his coaching career with Partizan in Belgrade as assistant coach of Duško Vujošević. Later he moved to Crvena zvezda where he worked as assistant coach with Dragan Šakota and Stevan Karadžić. On 18 March 2011, Nikitović was named the head coach of Crvena zvezda of the Adriatic League and the Basketball League of Serbia, after the coach Mihailo Uvalin got fired. On 19 November 2018, Nikitović was named a head coach of the Slovenian team Petrol Olimpija. Košarkaški klub FMP ( sr-Cyrl, Кошаркашки клуб ФMП), commonly referred to as KK FMP or as FMP Soccerbet due to sponsorship reasons, is a men's professional basketball club based in Belgrade, Serbia. The ABA League, renamed the ABA League First Division in 2017, is the top-tier regional men's professional basketball league that originally featured clubs from former Yugoslavia (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Slovenia). Due to sponsorship reasons, the league was also known as the Goodyear League from 2001 to 2006, the NLB League from 2006 to 2011, and as the AdmiralBet ABA League from 2021. Dragan Šakota (Serbian Cyrillic: Драган Шакота, Greek: Ντράγκαν Σάκοτα; born June 16, 1952) is a Serbian and Greek professional basketball coach, currently coaching AEK Athens of the Greek Basketball League (GBL). Playing career Šakota spent the entire playing career with the Belgrade-based team IMT. He played there from 1972 to 1983 and won the Yugoslav Federal B League in the 1982/83 season. Duško Vujošević ( sr-Cyrl, Душко Вујошевић; born 3 March 1959) is a Serbian former basketball Coach (basketball), coach. He is currently active as coach consultant of the Montenegrin ABA League club KK Studentski centar, Studentski centar since 2022. The Basketball League of Serbia (), commonly abbreviated as KLS, is a Serbian basketball league system, top-tier men's professional basketball Sports league, league in Serbia. Founded in 2006.
