Saša Golob
Saša Golob (born 17 August 1991) is a Slovenian former artistic gymnast. She represented Slovenia at the 2012 Summer Olympics. She won four medals in the FIG World Cup series. Early life Saša Golob was born on 17 August 1991 in Ljubljana to Vlado and Bernarda Golob. She has one older sister. She grew up in Domžale and began gymnastics when she was six years old. Gymnastics career Golob made her World Championships debut in 2007 and only competed on the uneven bars. She competed on the balance beam and the floor exercise at the 2009 World Championships and did not advance to either final. Golob received a scholarship for Towson University's gymnastics team and enrolled for the 2011 season, but she returned to Slovenia after one year to train for the Olympic Games. 2012 Gymnastics Olympic Test Event
The 2012 Gymnastics Olympic Test Event took place between January 10 and January 18, 2012. The event featured the artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics and Trampolining, trampoline disciplines. It qualified the last four artistic gymnastics teams for the Gymnastics at the 2012 Summer Olympics, 2012 Olympic Games, along with 34 individual female gymnasts and 27 individual male gymnasts selected through the all-around competition. Teams that finished 17th to 24th at the 2011 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships were able to take two individuals to the test event. Teams that finished 1st to 8th were invited to send two individual gymnasts, but they were not candidates for individual spots. Ayelén Tarabini
Ayelén Tarabini (born 11 June 1992) is an Argentine artistic gymnast who represents Kyrgyzstan in international competition. She is the 2008 Pan American Championships bronze medalist on vault and the 2017 South American Championships gold medalist on floor exercise. She competed at five World Championships, but never participated at the Olympics in part due to injuries. Tarabini was a member of the Argentinian national gymnastics team from 2006 until 2020, when she retired from the sport. Gymnastics At The 2012 Summer Olympics – Women's Artistic Qualification
The qualifications round of the women's artistic gymnastics competition at the 2012 Summer Olympics was held at the North Greenwich Arena on July 29. The top 8 teams advanced to the team final, the top 24 gymnasts (with a limit of two per country) to the individual all-around final, and the top 8 gymnasts on each apparatus (with a limit of two per country) to the apparatus finals. Lisa Evelien Top (born 13 August 1996) is a Dutch artistic gymnast. A Senior National Team member since 2012, she participated in both the 2014 and 2015 World Championships as well as the 2015 European Games. Early life Top was born on 13 August 1996 in Gouda, to Josephine Top. Top first got into gymnastics at the age of four; her friend took her to a gymnastics class and the trainers insisted that Lisa and her parents enroll her in full-time gymnastics courses. Consequently, she began training at the DOS Heerhugowaard gymnastics club. In 2009, at the age of 12, she left her family in Heerhugowaard to train at the prestigious Turncentrum Sportstad Heerenveen in Heerenveen.
