Saúl Molina
Saúl Victorino Molina (born 14 March 1938) is a retired Salvadoran professional footballer who later became a coach in El Salvador and Costa Rica. Club career Molina started his career at Dragón while at the same time studying to become a teacher. He then spent too much time training with the national team that Dragón let him go and he joined Second Division side Águila in 1958. He took part in their promotion to the Primera División de Fútbol de El Salvador and formed a dangerous frontline partnership with players like Juan Francisco Barraza and Juan Antonio Merlos. He also won his and the club's first league title in 1959, scoring the only goal of the second leg of the Final. In 1965 he left Aguila for Luis Ángel Firpo after falling out with Argentinian coach Rodolfo Orlandini, but at Firpo he got injured soon and decided to retire from playing. Juan Francisco Barraza
Juan Francisco Barraza Flores (March 12, 1935 – December 17, 1997) was a Salvadoran football player and manager. He is widely regarded one of the best Salvadoran footballers of all time. Career Born in the district of San Miguel as the son of Maria de la Cruz Barraza and Juan de Dios Flores, he attended Dr Antonio Rosales primary school. Early years Barraza began playing soccer in grade school and he joined C.D. Corona when he was eight years old. Due to extreme hardship, he began playing with balls made out of rags. Rodolfo Orlando Orlandini (1 January 1905 – 24 December 1990) was an Argentine football (soccer) midfielder who played for the Argentina national team between 1927 and 1930. Club career Orlandini played club football in Argentina for Sportivo Buenos Aires and Estudiantil Porteño before moving to Italy in 1930 to play for Genoa C.F.C. In 1936 he moved to France where he played for Nice. International career Orlandini played in the 1928 Olympic football tournament where Argentina came second to Uruguay. Juan Antonio "Maquinita" Merlos Cabrera (December 3, 1941 – December 6, 2014) was a Salvadoran football player and manager. Club career Nicknamed ''Maquinita'', Merlos was snapped up by Águila at Racing San Miguel and took part in their promotion to the Primera División de Fútbol de El Salvador in 1958. He also won his and the club's first league title in 1959, scoring one of the goals in the first leg of the Final. He still is one of Águila's all-time top goalscorers after forming a formidable frontline partnership in the 1960s with players like Juan Francisco Barraza and Saúl Molina.
