Savigny-le-Temple () is a Communes of France, commune in the Seine-et-Marne Department of France in the Île-de-France in north-central France. It is located in the south-eastern suburbs of Paris, from the Kilometre Zero, center of Paris. It is the largest commune in the "new town#France, new town" of Sénart, created in the 1970s. History During the French Revolution, Savigny-le-Temple (meaning "Savigny the temple") was temporarily renamed Savigny-sur-Balory (meaning "Savigny upon Balory", after the small Balory river). It was also temporarily renamed Savigny-le-Port (meaning "Savigny the port"). These changes were probably motivated by the religious connotation of the word "temple". Clément Jean Robert Chantôme (born 11 September 1987) is a French professional Association football, footballer who plays as a central midfielder for Championnat National 2 club C'Chartres Football, C'Chartres. RER D
RER D is one of the five lines in the (English: Regional Express Network), a hybrid commuter rail and rapid transit system serving Paris and its suburbs. The line crosses the region from north to south, with all trains serving a group of stations in central Paris, before branching out towards the ends of the line. The line connects Creil in the north to Melun and Malesherbes in the south, passing through the heart of Paris. Line D also links Gare du Nord with Gare de Lyon via Châtelet-Les Halles.
