Sauble Speedway
Sauble Speedway is a 1/4 mile short track motor racing oval, located east of the beach community Sauble Beach, in Hepworth, Ontario, Canada. The track hosts a weekly Saturday night stock car racing program that runs from June to September each year, with additional Sunday night races on long weekends. Overview The speedway originally opened in 1969 as a 1/4 mile dirt track but was paved prior to the start of the 1971 season. The tracks weekly racing program features United 8's for eight cylinder late model cars, Combined 4's for four cylinder cars and Junior Late Models. Delaware Speedway
Delaware Speedway is a half-mile paved race track that is one of the oldest continuously operating tracks in Canada. It is located a few minutes west of London, Ontario northeast of Delaware, Ontario. It hosts stock car racing every Friday night during the summer. The track opened in 1952 as a quarter-mile dirt track that was paved in 1960. In August 1969, the track was expanded to a 1/2 mile paved oval and continues today. Divisions The track hosts four different divisions as part of its home classes (Late Model, Super Stock, V8 Stock, Bone Stock). They also host the King of the Hill spectators races. The NASCAR Pinty's Series (french: Série NASCAR Pinty's), commonly abbreviated as NPS, is a national NASCAR racing series in Canada, and is a continuation of the old CASCAR Super Series which was founded in 1981. History In September 2006 NASCAR purchased the CASCAR Super Series, the top Canadian stock-car racing series at the time. At the same time, they established a sponsorship agreement with Canadian Tire as the title sponsor.
