is a Japanese life insurance company, which is headquartered in Tokyo and created in 2004 from the merger of Meiji Life and Yasuda Life. The company is one of the oldest and largest insurers in Japan. Hideo Sasaki
Hideo Sasaki (25 November 1919 – 30 August 2000) was a Japanese American landscape architect. Biography Hideo Sasaki was born in Reedley, California, on 25 November 1919. He grew up working on his family's California truck farm, and harvesting crops on Arizona farms. He began his college studies at the University of California, Berkeley during the time of World War II. Owing to his Japanese descent, he was forced into the Poston internment camp in Arizona after the signing of Executive Order 9066. He was able to leave the camp upon volunteering to work as a farm hand in Sterling, Colorado. Soon after the war, he moved to Denver, Colorado where he met his wife, Kisa, a graduate of the University of Colorado. Sasaki then moved to the University of Illinois where he received Bachelor of Fine Arts and Landscape Architecture in 1946. was a Japanese football player and manager. He managed Japan national team. Coaching career Sasaki was born in Fukushima Prefecture in 1891. After graduating from Tokyo Higher Normal School, in May 1921, he became manager for Japan national team for 1921 Far Eastern Championship Games in Shanghai. He managed 2 matches at this competition, but Japan lost in both matches (1-3, v Philippines and 0-4, v Republic of China). These matches are not counted as International A Match because Japan Football Association was not founded. Hisayuki Sasaki (27 November 1964 – 3 January 2013) was a Japanese professional golfer. Professional career Sasaki won three tournaments on the Japan Golf Tour and featured in the top 100 of the Official World Golf Ranking. Sasaki tied Davis Love III for the individual trophy of the 1995 World Cup of Golf but lost on the fifth hole of a sudden-death playoff. Sasaki played on the PGA Tour in 1996. He only recorded three top-25 finishes, however, and failed to maintain playing rights. He finished third in the 1997 Andersen Consulting World Championship of Golf. is a Japanese geneticist known for contributing to clarify epigenetic regulations during gametogenesis and embryogenesis through investigation of genomic imprinting as a model. He participates in the International Human Epigenome Consortium [IHEC]. Biography Sasaki was born in Fukuoka, Japan in 1956, and received his MD and PhD in 1982 and 1987, respectively, from Kyushu University. He was appointed as a professor of the National Institute of Genetics in 1998. He has been a professor at the Medical Institute of Bioregulation, Kyushu University since 2010, where he has been serving as a dean since 2012. Hiroko Sasaki is a Japanese pianist who performs in Europe, North America and Asia. At age 13, she began studying at the Yehudi Menuhin School in England. Soon after, she made her European début. At 16, she entered the Curtis Institute in Philadelphia in the United States, where she studied with Leon Fleisher, graduating in 1994. She later earned a Master of Music degree with Fleisher from the Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore, and an Artist Diploma from the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, Canada. Sasaki continues to perform extensively as recitalist and chamber musician in England, Scotland, Taiwan, France, Hungary, Switzerland, Canada and the United States.
