Sarah Bryce
Sarah Jennifer Bryce (born 8 January 2000) is a Scottish cricketer who plays for the national cricket team as a wicket-keeper-batter. At the domestic level, she plays for the Watsonian cricket club, for English teams The Blaze (formerly known as Lightning) and Kent, and for Welsh Fire. Previously, she has taken the field for English teams Nottinghamshire and Oval Invincibles. Bryce is best known as a batter who has represented Scotland at cricket since she was fifteen years old. However, she is also an accomplished wicket keeper. Her older sister, Kathryn, similarly plays international cricket for Scotland. Kathryn Emma Bryce (born 17 November 1997) is a Scottish cricketer and the current captain of the national women's cricket team. An all-rounder, she plays at the domestic level for the Watsonian cricket club, and for English teams The Blaze (formerly known as Lightning) and Derbyshire; she has also been drafted by Manchester Originals. Previously, she has taken the field for English teams Warwickshire, Loughborough Lightning, Lincolnshire and Trent Rockets. Wicket-keeper
In cricket, the wicket-keeper is the Cricket player, player on the fielding (cricket), fielding side who stands behind the wicket, ready to stop Delivery (cricket), deliveries that pass the batsman, and take a Caught, catch, Stumped, stump the batsman out, or run out a batsman when occasion arises. 2018 Women's County Championship
The 2018 Women's County One-Day Championship was the 22nd cricket Women's County Championship season. It ran from the beginning of May to the beginning of June and saw 33 county teams and teams representing Scotland, Wales and the Netherlands compete in a series of divisions. Hampshire Women won the County Championship as winners of the top division with Yorkshire finishing runners-up. 2016 Women's County Championship
The 2016 Women's County One-Day Championship was the 20th cricket Women's County Championship season. The Championship was won by Kent who recorded their seventh championship, setting a new record for the number of championships won. The runners-up were Sussex. This was the last season in which Division 4 was contested. Following a reorganisation of the structure of the tournament, all the teams in Division 4 were promoted to an expanded Division 3 in 2017. Somerset Women Cricket Team
The Somerset Women cricket team is the women's representative cricket team for the English ceremonial county of Somerset. They play their home games at various grounds across Somerset, most often in Taunton, and are captained by Emily Edgcombe. Somerset consistently competed in either Division 1 or Division 2 of the Women's County Championship, and won Division 2 of the Women's Twenty20 Cup in 2019. Cricket Scotland, formerly known as the Scottish Cricket Union, is the Sport governing body, governing body of the sport of cricket in Scotland. FairBreak Invitational T20
The FairBreak Invitational T20 is a women's Twenty20 cricket competition. The tournament, sanctioned by the ICC, is privately-run by FairBreak Global, a company that aims to promote gender equality. Players from around the world play in the tournament, spread across six teams. The inaugural tournament took place in Dubai in 2022. The second edition of the tournament took place in April 2023, in Hong Kong, with a further tournament scheduled in 2023 in the USA.
