Sapphira Cristál (born September 27, 1988) is the stage name of O'Neill Nichol Haynes, an American drag performer who was both runner-up and Miss Congeniality on season 16 of ''RuPaul's Drag Race''. She is also a classically trained opera singer and a composer. Early life and education Born in Bryan, Texas, Haynes's stepfather was MMA trainer Saul Soliz. Haynes was raised in Houston. His first exposure to opera was at the age of 4, when he attended a Houston Ebony Opera Guild performance of ''La bohème'' at the Miller Outdoor Theatre in Houston. He practiced Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai as a child. Haynes attended Houston's Kinder High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. He studied music composition and opera at the Eastman School of Music at the University of Rochester and the Longy School of Music at Bard College, but did not complete his bachelor's degree. RuPaul's DragCon LA is an annual Trade fair, expo of Drag (clothing), drag culture held in Los Angeles billed as a "convention that celebrates 'the art of drag, queer culture and self-expression for all'", which debuted in 2015. Its sister event is RuPaul's DragCon NYC started in 2017, and is considered the "world's largest celebration of drag culture." Michael Alexander White, better known as Xunami Muse, is a Panamanian drag performer based in the United States (under DACA). She competed on season 16 of ''RuPaul's Drag Race'', where she placed 9th. Early life White was born and raised in Colón, Panama, and moved to Brooklyn at the age of thirteen in 2002. She also lived in New Jersey before moving to Washington Heights, Manhattan. Career White has been described as a drag performer, model, and collection coordinator. She first discovered drag at a club named Escuelita, and first performed as Xunami in March 2018.
