Angeles (), officially the City of Angeles (; ), is a highly urbanized city in the Central Luzon region of the Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 462,928 people. Angeles is the largest city of Pampanga. While politically independent from the province, it is usually grouped by the Philippine Statistics Authority therewith for statistical purposes. Angeles City is the urban core of Metro Clark, an urban area in Pampanga. This area, also known as Metro Angeles, is considered the industrial and residential heartland of Central Luzon. Museo Ning Angeles
The (Kapampangan language, Kapampangan for "Museum of Angeles") is a museum in Angeles City, Philippines. It is run by the Kuliat Foundation. History The site of the current Museo ning Angeles in Barangay Santo Rosario was formerly occupied by Angeles' ''casa tribunal'' or court house during the Spanish Colonial Era (Philippines), Spanish colonial era which was burned down in 1860. The present building was constructed in 1922 and served as Angeles' town hall until 1998. The building was then repurposed as a museum in 1999 with the city jail and a police station converted to a museum office and souvenir shop respectively. Balibago is a barangay of Angeles City, Philippines. It is located around 50 miles north of the nation's capital, Manila. Within its border to the former U.S. Clark Air Base. Balibago has been described as "the entertainment district of Angeles City", as well as being a red-light district. Balibago has a vibrant night life, with a number of fine restaurants, shopping malls and a casino along the stretch of McArthur Highway.
