Santiago González Portillo
Santiago González Portillo (25 July 1818 – 1 August 1887) was a Salvadoran military officer and general who served as the President of El Salvador from 15 April 1871 to 1 February 1876. Biography Santiago González Portillo was born on 25 July 1818 in Zacapa, Captaincy General of Guatemala, Viceroyalty of New Spain. He married Soledad Fortis on 1 March 1866. He served as President of the Legislative Assembly in 1862 and again in 1863 during the presidency of Captain General Gerardo Barrios. During the War of 1863, he fought alongside Barrios at the Battle of Coatepeque. He later deserted Barrios and joined the invading Guatemalans under Rafael Carrera. Under the new government of Francisco Dueñas, he served as the Minister of War of El Salvador from 1863 until 1871, when he led a revolution against Dueñas' conservative government, which was overthrown. Santiago González Soto (born 25 June 1961) is a Mexican journalist, lawyer and politician. A member of the Labour Party (PT), he has been elected twice to the Chamber of Deputies. Biography González Soto was born in Mexquitic de Carmona, San Luis Potosí, in 1961. He holds bachelor's degrees in communication science (1985) and law (2014) and a master's in communication science (2006). As a journalist he has worked extensively in the state of Nuevo León, including periods spent with Televisión de Nuevo León, '' Diario de Monterrey'', Multimedios Televisión, Televisa Monterrey and Radio Nuevo León. Santiago González Iglesias (born 16 June 1988 in Buenos Aires) is an Argentine rugby union player who plays as a fly-half for the San Diego Legion of Major League Rugby (MLR). Santiago Emiliano González Areco (born June 11, 1992) is an Uruguayan professional footballer. Career Club Santiago González began his career in the youth system of Montevideo club Sud América. In 2011, he made his first team debut and during the 2012–13 Uruguayan Segunda División season helped Sud América gain promotion to the top flight as Segunda División champions. In his first season in the Uruguayan Primera División González was the team's top scorer with five goals and two assists in 14 matches.
