Santiago García (born 8 July 1988) is an Argentine professional footballer who most recently played as a left-back for Club Alianza Lima. Club career Rosario Central García started his career at hometown club Rosario Central, playing his first game with the team on a 1–0 defeat to Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata during the 2008 Apertura tournament. He broke into the starting eleven during the 2010 Clausura tournament under the guidance of head coach Ariel Cuffaro Russo, relegating Ecuadorian international Paúl Ambrosi to the bench. García made a total 13 positive appearances which led to interest from a number of European clubs. Unión La Calera is a Chilean football club based in La Calera, Chile. The club competes in the Primera División de Chile. It was founded as Club de Deportes La Calera on 26 January 1954, after the merger of three teams from the city: ''Condor'', ''Calera Comercio'' and ''Tifón''. The following year, Deportes La Calera joined ''Club de Deportes Melón'' (originated by the merger between Cemento Melón and Minas Navío) to form Unión La Calera. The 2008-09 Primera División season was the 118th season of top-flight professional football in Argentina and the nineteenth season in which the Apertura and Clausura system is used. Boca Juniors won the Apertura championship for their 29th national title after a three team playoff with Tigre and San Lorenzo. The Clausura championship was won by Vélez Sársfield for their 7th national title. Gimnasia y Esgrima (J) and San Martín (T) were relegated to the Primera B Nacional. Format The format for the 2008-09 season remained unchanged. The season was split into two tournaments called Apertura and Clausura. Juan Manuel García (born 8 July 1988) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for the San Luis de Quillota. Career García's first club were Rosario Central, he was promoted into the first-team during the 2010–11 Primera B Nacional when he was an unused substitute away to Defensa y Justicia on 19 June 2011. In the following season, 2011–12, García made twenty-four appearances including his pro debut on 25 September 2011 versus Boca Unidos. However, in the next five seasons, he featured just eighteen times. In June 2016, García was loaned to Gimnasia y Esgrima of the Argentine Primera División. He remained for half of 2016–17, but didn't make an appearance after being an unused sub fourteen times.
