Santa Tereza de Goias is a Municipalities of Brazil, municipality in north Goiás state, Brazil. Santa Tereza de Goiás is often spelled "Santa Teresa de Goiás". Location Santa Tereza is located in the extreme north of the state 35 km. south of Porangatu. It is on the important BR-153 highway. Goiânia ( ; ) is the capital and largest city of the Brazilian federative units of Brazil, state of Goiás. With a population of 1,536,097, it is the second-largest city in the Central-West Region, Brazil, Central-West Region and the 10th-largest in the country.
