Usulután Department
Usulután (; from the Nawat language, meaning "city of the ocelots") is a Departments of El Salvador, department of El Salvador in the southeast of the country (Lenca region). The capital is Usulután. Created on June 22, 1865, it is El Salvador's largest department. It has an area of 2,130 km². On October 26, 1948, the Alegria district was abolished and a new one called Santiago de Maria was created; it contains the cities of Santiago de Maria, which is the main city, as well as Alegria, Tecapan and California. The city of Usulutan, the department's capital, was founded by the Lenca tribes but it was conquered by the Pipil tribes. Some of the best beaches in El Salvador are located in Usulutan, and others such as El Espino are now under development. Nuevas Ideas (; abbreviated N or NI) is the current ruling political party of El Salvador. The party was founded on 25 October 2017 by Nayib Bukele, the then-mayor of San Salvador, and was registered by the Supreme Electoral Court (El Salvador), Supreme Electoral Court on 21 August 2018. The party's current president is Xavier Zablah Bukele, a cousin of Bukele who has served since March 2020. El Salvador, officially the Republic of El Salvador, is a country in Central America. It is bordered on the northeast by Honduras, on the northwest by Guatemala, and on the south by the Pacific Ocean. El Salvador's capital and largest city is San Salvador. Club Deportivo El Vencedor, commonly referred to as El Vencedor, is a Salvadoran professional football club based at Santa Elena, Usulután Department, El Salvador. They currently play in Tercera Division de Fútbol Salvadoreño, History El Vencedor won the Apertura 2018 title, after they defeated Platense 4–1 in penalties after tying in a two-legged series. This was title was followed with the most glorious event in the club history, as El Vencedor were able to once again defeat San Pablo Tachico (who were the Clausura 2019 Champion) in a promotion playoff 6–5 after penalties, after tying 0–0. Which enabled the club to play in the primera division (the top division in El Salvador) for the first time ever in the club history. Tercera Division De Fútbol Salvadoreño
The Tercera Division de Fútbol Salvadoreño, commonly known as Tercera División, and officially known as Electrolit Tercera División for sponsorship reasons, is the men's third professional association football division of the Salvadoran football league system. Administered by Liga Nacional de Fútbol Profesional, it is contested by 23 teams, with the top two teams plus the winner of a play-off promoted to Segunda division and replaced by the three lowest-placed teams in that division. Structure There are 24 clubs in Tercera Division divided into 4 groups of 10. They play in Apertura and Clausura. The clubs play every team in each group twice. The top four teams from each group, 16 teams in total, qualify for play-offs to determine the winner of the apertura and clausura title.
